Defending Real Battered Women--Not Erica Fox

From a reader:

Thank you for posting about Erica Fox's affairs. She liked to claim her husband Jason was "mean to her". If you look at one of the photos she has what looks like bruises on her arm. I've heard she will use that as a defense, but how can she defend what amounts to hiring a hit on Jason?

*****

We doubt that a battered woman defense will fly with jurors in Colbert County. Yes, we will defend real abused women, but no matter what her recent defenders say (and we have been surprised by their audaciousness), we hardly think she qualifies.

Our blog is for adults, not children. That's not because we use so-called adult language you may see in other local blogs or post risque memes. We discuss adult subjects for adult minds. We hardly think we have a readership with a young demographic; however, if you let your children read adult material of any ilk, you can hardly blame the writers.

We mentioned our demographic; so what is it? Sixty percent of our readers are women. About fifty percent of these have some college. A little over half of the women are between the ages of 40-65. The next largest demographic is 25-40. Male readers are also usually 40 or over and have at least some college. These numbers pretty much correlate with the area's educational levels in general.

Thanks to our readers, and a special thanks to Leslie M. Shoals for contributing over the years. Leslie's last blog now has the second highest rating in our eight years of publishing-21,000 hits and rising.

  1. I agree she has no defense. As for the photographs I think it helps her kids, if they should see them, to know how it really was. I'd rather know than be torn between my two parents.

    1. The "bruises" in that sick pic are not doubt from "rough sex" with anyone of her admitted 7 "lovers" she committed adultery with. She lied to her parents about abuse from Jason to keep them angry with him and "on her side". That's what she did, manipulate people. She is such a pathological liar, that she has convinced herself that she is "innocent" and now all she has to do is manipulate "everyone" into believing her. That is what a sociopath does. When she got fired from her bank teller job (she has been fired from every job she ever held)for stealing cash, she came up with a story that "someone" had stuffed $100 bills through a crack left in her car window because of the heat at a mall parking lot! LOL BS! Hold on for a bumpy ride folks. This trial will definitely be a real barn burner and complete waste of tax payer money. She is guilty as sin without even the slimmest chance of reasonable doubt!

  2. I've said from the beginning she would claim battered woman syndrome. I think her reputation precedes her. I really don't think prosecutors will have difficulty finding witnesses to reveal the true abuser.

  3. That's right. Let's NEVER forget that Erica Rae Green-Fox planned, conspired, urged on and completed the murder of her unfortunate husband, Jason Lee Fox. God only knows what other lies she and her lawyer will come up with to portray her as an "innocent" in this horrible case. But trying to make it Jason's fault will backfire in their faces when the real truth and facts come out in court. She will rot in prison for the rest of her worthless, soulless existence! Justice for Jason!
