What Was Matthew Fox's Involvement in Amanda Taylor's Death?

Matthew Fox

No matter what we may think of those involved in Amanda Taylor's death, they are not all equally guilty. The following is from Luke Stanfield, a close friend of Matt Fox:

He was at my house when the murder took place. we got the text from Ashley at my house asking how to dispose of a body. we didn't believe her and laughed it off and told her what we had seen in movies and on csi and criminal minds. once we knew it was real we told them to call the cops. he left my house later that night around 1am-2am. where he went after that i don't know. but i do know he wasn't there to kill or dismember her. if we had known it was real to start with we wouldn't have even said anything to her about how to "dispose" of the body. She told fox that, at the time, her unnamed roommate had been attacked and killed her in self defense.

I now know that fox went over there after he left my house. but he was lied to about the situation. I guess he didn't know what to do because a man he didn't know just killed someone and had cut her up when he got there so out of fear for his on life he said nothing and did nothing. I can see why he would fear for his life after seeing some guy you don't know killed some one he knew, what would keep him from killing a complete stranger.

We have no reason to believe that this is not true; however, Fox remained silent for over five weeks. He will have to answer the charges for that.

From D.K.:

The Times Daily wrote this morning in the Amanda Taylor case the 3 defendants would have their first court date some time today. I drove over to Colbert Co. to find out that it happened Friday.

If there is going to many (at the trial) have a system to make sure first Family and then close friends have a reserved area for them so not to be left out in the halls, of course I guess then the defendants would have to have a place or room for them, not that very many at all will be there for their support.

It very well may happen in this case, with all reports and news of this, I can see a possible motion to ask for a Move, and it just may be granted with this one, more so with the one (Weems) charged for Murder.

D.K. is always more than willing to help any family that has lost a loved one to crime and violence. Often families are not ready for his help, but we hope they know he will be there for them when they are.

The attempted murder trial of Jon Thomas Wallis begins today in Lauderdale County. Wallis, currently serving a sentence for drug trafficking, will be tried for the attack on his wife. Jurors were selected yesterday, and testimony will begin at 9:00 a.m.

Wallis is currently serving his time in the Lauderdale County Jail, with a release date of April 29, 2014. Assuming (and hoping for) a conviction in this case, he should be transferred to a state facility within 30 days.

  1. Uh, I am pretty sure Luke Stanfield just implicated himself.....

  2. I just want to say that I was never told who got murdered who commited the murder or if it was even 100% real until after Fox had been arrested.
That is why I never went to the cops myself. I have known Ashley Greenhill for almost 10 years or longer and have never really believed anything she said.

  3. So, let's get this straight. Luke Stanfield is admitting to the same charges that Fox is accused of all over the internet? From the sounds of this article, Luke is confessing to knowing about the murder (and keeping it silent), and for helping with the idea of mutilating the corpse.

  4. Hey Luke, do you want to get your stories straight? Because I am sure the cops are going to be very interested in this.
"we got the text from Ashley at my house asking how to dispose of a body. we didn't believe her and laughed it off and told her what we had seen in movies and on csi and criminal minds. once we knew it was real we told them to call the cops."
That last sentence says it all! You admit to knowing about it and you say YOU & FOX found out it was real. So obviously you found out BEFORE he was arrested.

  5. Whoever these anonymous comments are from ... is ridiculous. Luke Stanfield has stated that he never knew who got murdered, who committed a murder, or if the murder was even real. Also, Luke wasn't the one who went to the house, witnessed a dead body, or helped dispose of it.

I agree that the story was iffy enough to go the police based on only suspicions but, being involved in something like this or associated with someone who was involved is scary enough. I can honestly say that if I were in Luke's position and heard about Ashley saying anything about a dead body, I'd think she was a disgusting individual and lying, too. She seems to take enjoyment out of joking about death.

  7. I'm pretty sure the "we thought it was a joke" excuse didn't work past the 1st grade. Much less with a grand jury murder case. Second, Luke's story doesn't match up. According to his story, when they found out it was real, he suggested that they call the cops. Without doing so on his own? Letting the woman's family suffer for a month and a half? Why didn't Luke grow balls and call the police himself? His friend is going down on a murder charge because of his unwillingness to act. And since when is trying to help your "close friend" considered as admitting that he visited a crime scene where a woman was murder and cut up? Fox's defense is gonna have a nightmare trying this case with Luke delivering "helping" blows like this on the outside.

  8. The fact remains that he knew something happened. He knew of one person involved in it to begin with, Ashley Greenhill. Based on that, at least the police could have deduced where it took place. Regardless if he thought she may be joking, he should have gone to the police with his suspicions so that it could be investigated. He may not have been there, but having knowledge of it and not reporting it is a crime. He says he told them to call the police, if he is talking about Ronald, Laurel, and Ashley he must be out of his mind to think that the people involved in a MURDER and asking how to dispose of the body would actually call the police on themselves! I also find it odd that he is all over the internet running his mouth instead of just going to the police with any information he has, if he thinks he is so innocent. He doesn't seem too bright to me....

  9. Prosecution is going to have a field day with this. Luke just sealed the fate of his friend. I hope they throw has ass in jail too. Luke seems just as responsible as Fox

  10. Stop trying to start a lynch mob. If they aren't arresting greenhill they may as well turn fox loose...it's obvious she didn't learn of the murders through phone calls. But she is still wandering around. Some people really need to get a grip you can't prosecute people for murder if they didn't pull the trigger...fox will end up with less charges than what were initially announced.

  11. Luke, you are an idiot. In your attempt to "help" Foxy, you just made everything worse for him and yourself. You need to call a lawyer and STFU. This ain't Devils Rejects, dude. This is real life and you're an ignorant amateur.

  12. "where he went after that i don't know. but i do know he wasn't there to kill or dismember her."..... That. Is the most idiot thing I have ever read. If you were going to attempt to not bury a hole for yourself, you would at least talk in past tense. Its much too late for that though, you just dug a hole so deep that there is no sun left in your sky.

  13. If he did it, then he needs to be punished, plain and simple. No matter how good of a friend he was to people. This stuff is disgusting. And also, I'm not afraid to put my name. I'm friends with some friends of his. And no one know what really happened. I just hope justice is served for those innocent and for those guilty.

  14. You people sicken me with your comments about Luke. I've known Luke for going on 12 years and see him atleast once or twice a week. He's a good guy and would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it... You people should really take a step back and look at yourself. Write your comments, after this, and talk bad about me. I could care less, but I will probably never visit this site again because of this.
