Sheffield Needs an Enema?

From a reader: According to an article in today’s Times Daily, THIS is one of two finalists for the (Sheffield) superintendent’s job:

Is that board obsessed with people named “Keith”, or do they just love outsiders who cut and run? What’s wrong with Carlos Nelson? Granted, I don’t trust him as far as I could throw him, but he HAS worked as a teacher, principal, and deputy superintendent within the Sheffield system. Sheffield has a long history of dragging in outsiders who create messes and run. (Roger Tomberlin closed the Village School way back in the early 1990s, which led to the first mass exodus of students. Lankford finished the job, but this time it was teachers and staff who ran.) Maybe THE BOARD is the problem.

Winfield Board of Education won’t tell citizens of THEIR district why Keith Davis resigned unexpectedly, but Sheffield’s board is ready to take him in??? The city of Sheffield needs a giant enema!
