Mishandling of Terrorist Threat at Muscle Shoals High/Carson Nash

From a student:

Today at MSHS there was a student who made a terrorist threat and was arrested. I’m sure you’ve heard all about it. However the school told us students that it was a drill and only had us under a Code Yellow. There is no excuse for the school lying to us, it’s just plain wrong. Our levels of alert weren’t even raised because we thought it was a drill. When someone knocked on my classroom door, we opened it. That could’ve ended very badly. I feel the school should even have some repercussions for it!!

We are acquainted with the student who sent us this post and believe it to be true. Every parent should demand answers from both the principal and the board.

Who was the "terrorist?"

Above is Carson Nash - He's the more slimy one on the right. So basically, he's now been arrested for a felony and is about to be kicked out of Muscle Shoals High School. That's not to mention what his parents will do to him, assuming he has parents.

Carson says he's looking for a welding job. Good luck with that, Carson. College? Not sure that you were planning to go, but if you were, you may have just lost financial aid for five years. Quite a stinky kettle of fish, isn't it, Carson?

  1. To post something like this is a disgrace. You don't even know this boy. And yes he has parents. The question is do you have parents and are you really just a slimy know it all. Stop hurting people with all this it is NOT true

  2. A good friend of mine. Really a friendly hard working guy actually. He made a mistake but would never harm anyone. Ive called him because I was stuck at work and needed someone to jump off my car and he was there in minutes smiling.

  3. So, why is this child/young adult (that has never been in trouble & that's a straight A & B student) being crucified for a meme that has been passed around for literally weeks--what about all of the other students that passed it around and the original production of the meme--where's that student. This was a joke that was blown way out of proportion. This is what's wrong with the world today!! We're not here to judge other people or spread malicious slander. Anyone that believes anything on this page really needs to re-evaluate themselves. This is not a factual informational avenue to trust for the truth. It is only a gossip highway!!! I mean, according to your own article on December 2, 2018, (following up this story) you've admitted this story is based on assumptions and your betting what happened. Then you want to crucify people for using freedom of speech and commenting and you basically threatening them with possible legal actions making reference to what you could do to them in another state (SC). And trying to get basically a lynch mob of people to support you crucifying more people to promote this slanderous page and try to keep as much drama going as possible. I really hope there aren't a lot of people as uneducated and small minded as you are in the world--scary thought!! I could go on and on--but quite frankly, this page isn't worth my time. Praying for this family!!!

  4. No one has threatened anyone with any legal action. You have obviously misread. As for the Myrtle Beach remark, this is true in Alabama also; however, the NC city recently received some very good publicity for arresting those who disturb the peace with their vulgar language. Cursing is not an entitlement of free speech in many legal circles...who's ill educated now? You might also want to learn the difference between slander and libel, and neither has been committed here since all that was published was true. Our prayers are with the victims, not the perp.

    1. What victims? A "meme" was threatening...this is absolutely ridiculous. Your article is not true in its entirety and there's absolutely no need in even going on with this issue as you're only trying to maintain drama. And your article is a lot more threatening than any meme! Yes, I stand by my statement that you're uneducated and small minded. Everything offends someone. Before long the U.S. will not be free because of stupidity, such as jokes blown out of proportion... God bless America!!!

    2. First, just whom has this article threatened? Second, every student, teacher, and staff member was Nash's victim. They lost educational instruction that morning and those who knew the truth about the lock down were unsure of their immediate fate. Even a 1% chance that a shooter is coming through the door is unnerving.
