It seems that no matter how ignorant of the Bible people are, there is one verse that everyone knows. No, it’s not John 3:16. Some people still don’t know that one; however, everyone seems to know Matthew 7:1, wherein Jesus says, “Judge not, that ye be not judged” (KJV). In fact, the less of the Bible people know, the more they’re prone to know and repeat this verse. If we had a nickel for every time someone accused us of “intolerantly” violating this verse, we could pay our server costs and possibly quit our day jobs. - Kim Olsen
Anon Ghost, a hacker group that has shut down government sites for at least two months, has hit the Lauderdale County Sheriff's Office. The worldwide group reportedly hits sites related to controversial government entities. AG tweeted at approximately 6:00 p.m. CST that it has hacked both the Lauderdale Sheriff's site and the web page of American Legion Post 11.
A private source has indicated the Lauderdale Sheriff's site was chosen due to reports from the Alabama Ethics Commission. The commission met February 6th and took depositions from several LCSO employees. It's been reported that Chief Deputy Jr. Witt was fined and reprimanded as a result of the inquiry.
