Two Coaches, Two Resignations

 

If you haven't read the TimesDaily article on Blake Beck's sudden resignation, it's very interesting. We're pleasantly surprised. We banned one female reader who accused us of making up Beck's many problems at Muscle Shoals High School. The TD not only mentioned these incidents, but supplied links to previous news stories on these unsportsman-like encounters.

Do we know which route Beck will now take? No. If we learn more, we will publish it here. The TD did give the former coach's record at Muscle Shoals as 21-21. We have no objections about playing to win; we do about mistreating city employees and students.

The TD also covered Lauderdale County coach Brant Llewellyn's sudden departure. The local news indicated it was an ongoing story. We look forward to more details as they become available. Obviously, we also take news tips and all remain anonymous.
