Mr. Gibbs: A Heavenly Shelter Rescue! |
We receive scads of e-mails about bad customer service or inferior service or lost/stolen items/pets. We choose not to publish these since we don't have space, they are subjective, and our blog deals with mainly political/criminal issues.
However, we're aware that many business owners don't know how they or their employees are perceived by the general public. Some don't care, but some are simply oblivious to problems in their business. We were impressed by this blog and hope everyone reads it:
We wish we could have been there...

While on the subject of local blogs, we'll move on to OB's Corner. OB, while hardly objective when it comes to the University of Alabama, is a great sports writer. We may make some radical feminists very unhappy here by stating that, while many women love football, it's usually the male of the species who analyses and dissects the coaching and plays. OB does a great job of this, and we would like to see him start a second blog dedicated to local/state sports. How about it, OB?

Has Twitter increased gambling or made it easier to participate? An interesting article:
Shoalanda
I'll take that as a compliment. Thank you. Doing a sports blog I would have to be unbiased and use a capital a for auburn,... LOL Mary. A sports blog might be fun IF I could stay unbiased. I think I could do that,... time would be a restraint however,... but we'll keep that ball in play so to speak. On the Rutland death,... I do not buy into the fact that it was only gambling. That was a death of passion being stabbed 30 times and shot,... that was more that $250 owed in my opinion.
ReplyDeleteYou could be objective in other games...couldn't you? Give it some thought.
DeleteInteresting thoughts on Bree's murder. I agree it was very personal.
I'm curious as to why a well known bookie in the Tuscumbia/Deshler High community was allowed to volunteer coach at Deshler High School? What if one of his customers came to collect at school?
ReplyDeleteWe'll assume he wasn't that well known, at least to school officials. We can honestly say that we were so far out of the loop that we didn't know public schools had volunteer coaches. I'm sure it's something the school board will look into.
DeletePoor Mr. Gibbs...he hated being there! Maybe it was a little revenge. Thankfully, he won't have to go back. Thanks for the post...if I thought it would actually make a difference, I might call the vet and tell him what happened. And it's not just me...others say the same thing. I'm still shopping for a vet. Don't know yet where I'll go.
ReplyDeleteI agree with you about OB and a local sports blog...and I had to laugh at his comment that he'd have to capitalize auburn. He may have a good point, there. lolz
