Body of Lotus House Patient Found

 

Laci Whitson was a resident of Fayette, but had been living at the Lotus Recovery House located on East Mobile Street in Florence. According to her father, Laci left her job at a local Walmart with a male friend. Her companion's name is known to law enforcement, but he has not been charged with anything at this time.

Laci's family became concerned about her and contacted law enforcement in the Fayette area. Unfortunately, this weekend her body was found wrapped in a blanket in a wooded area. Her companion has stated she left his home walking.
