The positive identification of the body of Casey White's half-brother in Town Creek has pointed out another weakness in our state's administrative ability. Right hand - left hand and all that.
According to a statement from the Lauderdale District Attorney's office, Casey will be eligible for parole in 2081 when he's 98. That doesn't mean his parole is automatic, just that he's eligible for a hearing.
What does the DOC say? That site indicates Casey will be eligible in January 2061 when he's approximately 77 or 78.
How much damage could Casey do at 78, assuming he lives that long? It might depend on how many female jailers he has helping him..
