A Muscle Shoals parent has contacted us about some LGBT books in the Muscle Shoals High School library. While we are happy to make this content known, we want all Muscle Shoals parents/citizens to know this is a very ugly can of worms.
Our bottom line is the importance of parents knowing what their children are reading. If every book someone finds offensive is removed from the shelves, there will soon be no libraries.
That being said, we'll add that we are surprised anyone in the Muscle Shoals School System thought these transgender-themed books would raise no eyebrows...
Ah yes ... Sexually 'Grooming' kids. Shame on you, Muscle Shoals.
