Thanksgiving 2021

No matter how horrible 2021 may be remembered in history books, we still have much to be thankful for:

* COVID is on the wane and new oral preventatives will arrive shortly.

* The price of gasoline may be high, but we still have enough to fuel our vehicles.

* Many areas of the country may have been scarred by riots, but the Shoals has so far been spared.

Obviously, there are many more positives that we could list, but so often we prefer to look upon the negatives. If you haven't already, take a few moments right now to consider all the positives in your life and give thanks for them.

  1. Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours, Shoalanda. May we be celebrating the end of all Fake/Real Pandemics by next Thanksgiving and may ALL of our Freedoms be intact and flourishing.

  2. Thank "YOU" most of all for providing a weak attempt at humor. We are all tired of newspapers and TV shows that give us boring things like "facts". Your articles are not like this they are written in such a way that we can imagine the story to be anything we want, and about anybody we want. I just wanted to give you thanks before you are gone.

    1. Talk about a 'carefully worded redponse'!

    2. I'm still trying to figure out if the "...thanks before you are gone." was a threat, or what. Talk about a backhanded compliment! Sheesh

  3. Don't worry. Wayne Carr will be run out of the area pretty soon himself.
