Bryan Robinson Throws His Associates Under the Bus
As part of Brian Robinson's house flip scheme, the tarnished financial guru had approximately 20 mortgages prepared on properties he didn't own. Then Robinson forwarded the mortgages to Caitlin Burns Holland and Brad Bolding unsigned. What was Robinson's excuse for not signing the mortgages and having them notarized at the law firm which allegedly drew them up? That we don't know, but it would have been easy to tell his associates that he would stop by their offices to sign the documents.
Except he didn't. Again, we don't know what excuse he gave, but he asked Holland and Bolding to duplicate his signature on the multiple documents. We're using the word "duplicate," but legal documents quoting victims are using the term "forge" since the signature was designed to look exactly like Robinson's. Then Robinson asked Caitlin Burns Holland, a Sheffield attorney and President of the Shoals Area Chamber of Commerce, to notarize the signatures and file the mortgages with the Madison County Probate Court, which she did.
The above events happened within an approximate nine-month period in 2015; at the end of this period, Holland supposedly discovered that Bryan Robinson didn't own the properties in Madison County. Her employment for Robinson ended at this point, for whatever reason. Around this time, Robinson's scheme was discovered by some of his investors who set about to sue Robinson, as well as Burns and Bolding.
Then in July 2016, Caitlin Burns Holland applied for a malpractice policy with Attorneys Insurance Mutual of the South; on her application, she stated that she knew of no possible actions against her. Then in June 2017, Holland informed AIM that the "McKinney family" was preparing to make a claim against her in connection with the "millions of dollars" lost in Bryan Robinson's scam. AIM has now filed suit against Holland to have her malpractice policy voided on the basis of fraud.
How will a court of law see Brad Bolding's and Caitlin Burns Holland's roles in this scam to defraud investors? That we don't know, but surely in the court of public opinion, Bryan Robinson should be the one to shoulder the majority of the blame for both defrauding investors and bringing two innocents into his web of lies.

Bryan Robinson & His House Flip Scam Victims
Bryan Robinson is perhaps best known for being part of the DreamVision Team...the man who stood before the public and announced that all funding for the project was in place. Yet that's not why we're taking another look at Robinson today. Remember his house-flipping scheme which allegedly claimed at least three victims who unwisely invested in this plan? It seems that two more have become collateral damage in his machinations.
Before we relate this tawdry tale, we want to ask if you've ever regretted assisting a friend as a favor...only to find out that you've been used? Perhaps you didn't think it through since your intent was to do nothing illegal? We believe this is the case with Caitlin Burns Holland and Brad Bolding who worked/partnered with Robinson.
The sting: Bryan Robinson told potential investors and others that he had purchased approximately 20 defaulted properties in Madison County. Presumably he needed more cash to fix these homes up and sell them for a substantial profit, something known colloquially as "flipping." Robinson approached his investors with the line that he would produce this return in a very short time, that they had nothing to worry about since he would mortgage the properties to them until the sales were made. In other words, if the investors didn't get their money back on schedule, they would take possession of the homes which were worth much more than their investments.
Robinson then typed, or had typed, these mortgages made out to the various investors, but used the name of a Madison County law firm:
Looks pretty official, doesn't it? The problem is that Bryan Robinson misspelled the name of the firm. It's not "Carlton & Jacobs," but "Cartron & Jacobs":
Logically, wouldn't Robinson have had an employee of this law firm notarize his signature? Yet for those who trusted Robinson, this didn't seem to be a problem...and that became their undoing.
Tomorrow: Bryan Robinson implicates his associates.

Resa Witt has posted on her FB page that criminal charges have been brought against the deputy who had to escort her husband Terry out of the Colbert County Court House:
We're extremely curious as to just where these charges have been filed. After all she didn't say a complaint, she said "criminal charges," meaning something filed by state or federal government. While we may be curious, we're not going to hold our breath for some record of them to be sent us.

The Curious Case of "Christmas of Light"
Everyone loves the late painter Thomas Kinkade, right? Okay, maybe not everyone, but many do find the work of Kinkade to be inspiring. So?
So...let's put on a show. In fact, let's put it on in Dollywood at Christmas and make a mint. At least that's what a few locals thought last fall. In November 2015, local real estate developer Eugene Sak incorporated "Christmas of Light Productions." Interestingly, Sak's headquarters are located in the same downtown office building as Bryan Robinson's. And what's a Brian Robinson story without Rick Silanskas and Gary Baker?
Yes, the now infamous Christmas of Light show was orchestrated by Rick Silanskas of DreamVisiton fame and local singer/songwriter Gary Baker (Baker Family Productions). The idea was pretty simple: A group of young singer/actors under the direction of Silanskas and Baker would sing Christmas music to a backdrop of seven Kinkade paintings. In addition to standard holiday carols, the show would feature original music by Gary Baker, all for a little less than fifty dollars per person.
At the time Sak purchased the Christmas of Light show, the production was ostensibly owned by Provident Global Capital (Bryan Robinson). Provident had contracted with three entities to stage the show: Triple Horse Productions, In:ciite Media, and DreamVision. The holiday show was already booked for the Smokey Mountain Palace at Dollywood when Sak completed the sale with Bryan Robinson. According to Sak's suit against the Killen resident, In:ciite and Triple Horse (both co-defendants) are now demanding payment from Sak. The DreamVision company is conspicuously absent from the lawsuit. In other words, what did Robinson do with the money he received from Sak?
As for the show itself, it received mixed reviews. It's not on the Dollywood schedule for Christmas 2016, but perhaps a venue may yet be found in Zip City.

It would appear that Bryan Robinson is from the Kanye West school of entrepreneurship--never use your own money when you can use someone else's. We have to ask why the three businessmen who invested 600K in Robinson's plan to flip Huntsville properties didn't attempt to purchase the defaulted real estate directly? We also have to ask why anyone, especially businessmen, trusted Robinson?

Updates on Jungle Safari & Bryan Robinson
We received several comments on our Jungle Safari blog that were unpublishable due to language. Anyone whose comment we didn’t publish, please feel free to resend without the profanity. As of today, here’s the status of yesterday’s events.
* A Jungle Safari employee was arrested and remains in the Florence Detention Center. There is no mugshot for Darryl V. Raymond Jr. due to problems with the booking camera at the detention center.
* Reports indicate the manager of Jungle Safari assisted in Raymond’s arrest. The traveling petting zoo left Florence yesterday for Birmingham.
* There were some reports of a second employee acting suspiciously, but no official complaints were filed. We’ll add that such traveling shows are prime targets for pickpockets. While we can’t compare monetary crimes with sexual abuse, no one wants to have one’s wallet lifted. Exercise caution at all times.
* Jungle Safari has been the focus of animal abuse allegations before. We hope this puts an end to such attractions in Florence and the Shoals. Many local farms present animals in a natural setting in the spring and fall, charging only a small fee for admission. We recommend supporting these endeavors. You may not see lions and tigers, but you won’t be seeing abused animals either.
* The father who was questioned by Florence Police was not arrested, but was released at the scene. If any other parents are aware of abuse, please report it to the FPD and One Place of the Shoals.

We had some reader questions about Bryan Robinson of DreamVision fame. Here’s a chronological recap/update of his legal status.
* Pre-DreamVision, Robinson has two monetary judgments against his companies due to non-payment of rent in Colbert County.
* As recently as last September, Robinson restructured his current company and promised there would be an announcement by December 31, 2015, concerning land purchases for DreamVision in Colbert County.
* Robinson is the focus of a state securities commission investigation. The commission has sent Robinson a cease and desist order in connection with the sale of securities/stocks in the state.
* Robinson is the defendant in three local lawsuits. One suit is seeking back rent from the financier in connection with his most recent offices in the Greater Alabama building in Florence. A second suit is in connection with legal commitments related to a Dollywood light show which Robinson failed to keep.
* The third lawsuit in Lauderdale County against Bryan Robinson was brought by a local businessman, one of three who claim they were defrauded by the Killen investment counselor in a Huntsville property flip scheme. Robinson did not appear in court last week to answer charges and Judge Mike Jones ruled in favor of the plaintiff, awarding him 287K. Two others, reportedly brothers, who invested in the same property deal, have not to our knowledge filed suit.
* Sources have indicated there will be further criminal charges filed against Robinson in connection with the 600K total lost in the Huntsville housing scheme.

287K Judgment Against Bryan Robinson
Bryan Robinson, a local investment adviser with ties to DreamVision, was a no-show in court yesterday. A Lauderdale County judge automatically entered a judgment against Robinson:
One has to speculate as to why Robinson failed to appear to answer the civil charges. Our sources have told us for some time the odds are good that Robinson will eventually face criminal charges in relation to these bogus land deals, as well as other contractual obligations that were never satisfied.

Some years ago we were surprised to learn that we were an ex-girlfriend of convicted killer Ronald Weems. We’ve also been called the ex-husband of a local teacher arrested for having sex with a student.
Most recently we’ve been called the ex-wife of “ED.” We’re sure Mr. D was as surprised as we were to learn of this relationship. We do want to thank Mr. D for his help in clearing up a matter that has been totally misrepresented and for any information he may have forwarded to us via perfectly legal channels.

DreamVision Becomes a Nightmare?
Local self-proclaimed financial wizard Bryan Robinson has reiterated that DreamVision will be making a big announcement by the end of the year. Does anyone want to hold their breath? Our question is what Robinson and others get out of this. How long can the public be put off? How long until there is a possible securities violation? No, we're certainly not accusing Mr. Robinson or anyone else of anything illegal...just dumb; however, some people may not be that generous.

Hershel Dale Graham still resides in the Kilby Infirmary in Montgomery. Sources say he is to be released on his approved medical furlough shortly. What! He's not dead yet, dying invalid that he is? We are at a total loss that the public has not been more vocal in opposing this, yet they call for vigilante justice on a girl who stabbed another young teen who had hit her with a pan even having a parole hearing.

It's almost October, and it's going to be a very big month. No, not just because we'll bring you all those versions of Sleepy Hollow from Youtube, but because three of those serving time in Amanda Taylor's death will be released, and John Wesley Akin and Brady Ann Irons will be facing a trial for drug trafficking. Any comments on the three now serving time in the Taylor case need to be made now before the trio become private citizens.

Return to (Pipe) DreamVision?
DreamVision? Anyone have an update? No? Then let's recap:
1. The DreamVision company originally incorporated in Florida--no theme park announcements that we know of. The company removed to Texas in 2009 after a financial judgment.
2. Announced theme park for Dallas (at a Christian Media conference) in 2011.
3. Announced theme park for Ft. Worth in 2013.
4. Announced theme park for Cape Town, South Africa, in 2013 (partnered with the animation company Character Matters).
5. Announced theme park in Israel in 2013 (partnered with Roni Wexler, owner of Sea of Galilee amusement company).
6. Announced (again) theme park for Ft. Worth in 2015.
7. Announced theme park for Muscle Shoals, Alabama, in 2015.
*****
So the "Sea of Galilee, Inc." is award winning? Uh, not that we can tell. Just try to Google this company to personally view all their (0) awards?
We don't want to sound all Muslim terrorist here and have no desire to shove our religious beliefs down anyone's throat, but somehow we don't associate the Sea of Galilee with an amusement park...

While we're on the subject, a reader asked us some time ago if we attended the news conference DreamVision held at the Marriott. We did not. He then pointed out something very interesting to us.
It seems when funding was discussed, Bryan Robinson of Killen uttered two very conflicting statements:
1. We're good. (That's pretty straight forward--the funding is there.)
2. We'll get the support. (That's not quite the same thing as statement number one.)
We notice that no news outlets noted that discrepancy, but if you look at the YouTube video, you can confirm the above statements.
*****
What does DreamVision get out of these nebulous and unlikely theme park plans? Remember that old pop psych catch phrase of Dr. Fraser Crane? See it; Be it.
If only it worked that way.

Looking at the invitation, we notice Bryan Robinson's name is not on the list of speakers. Since he's local, why isn't it? In case you missed the skinny on Bryan Robinson's local companies (at least two of them):
*****
A reader has pointed out to us that the name Provident Global Capital bears a great similarity to Provident Funding, It's certainly not illegal, but could be misleading to some.
Robinson and his wife Rachel and assorted others seem to have founded at least five corporations in the Lauderdale County area. Bryan Robinson also has an office in the Keystone Centre, apparently having moved there from his Tombigbee Street location.
Twenty years experience. As our faithful reader said, is that combined? Combined with whose?
*****
Tomorrow's press conference seems to be limited to one hour. The Ft. Worth conference did not allow any questions, at least we have been informed that was the case.
So, anyone want to buy into Shoalanda's Hoverboards? We'll bring you what your parents thought would be here by 1999.
