The victim in the early morning shooting at Joker's on Hatch Boulevard has been identified; however authorities are saying little about the death of Mark Harris of Sheffield. According to his social media, he graduated from Sheffield High School, but was a native of Detroit, Michigan. Harris also stated on Facebook that he never carried a gun.
The alleged shooter is reportedly in custody, but has not been identified by Sheffield police. Harris is survived by his mother in Leighton as well as other relatives.
Is this ANOTHER shooting, or the one from a couple of months ago?

ReplyDeletePolice Chief Ricky Terry said police are following leads in the 1 a.m. shooting death of Mark Anthony Harris Jr., 29, of Leighton.
As of this morning, no arrest has been made in connection with the case.
The latest info given us states the suspected shooter was questioned, but not charged. The investigators are attempting to secure more evidence.
