Today Ron Tyler went on record as endorsing Katie Britt for the Republican candidate for the U.S. Senate. We agree. You can read the Florence Police Chief's endorsement here: Yellowhammer News.
Mrs. Britt has two viable Republican candidates. The first is Rep. Mo Brooks. Do we really have to say anything about Brooks? If we do, remember he once lamented a shooting postponed a baseball game, literally ran from reporters rather than answering salient questions, and endorsed a man who was at best a soft-core child predator.
Then there's Mike Durant. Does anyone out there know what Durant stands for? Aside from owning a large Huntsville company, Durant has little interest in this state or its residents. If you think he's on your side, you need to take off whatever blinders you're wearing.
No candidate is going to please all the citizens, but we believe Mrs. Britt will do the best job of any on the current Republican slate. You need to think and pray about your choice. We don't think either has been very widespread in recent years.

Britt 'sounds good', but unfortunately she's backed by 'Never Trumpers'. That automatically disqualifies her in my book. She's not a solution; she's a continuation of The Swamp.
