With students and other renters moving in this month, we've been asked to remind readers of some Florence ordinances (and in effect in other cities as well):

* No more than three unrelated individuals can live in one rental unit.

* Grass can be no more than 12" high.

* Indoor furniture cannot be used on porch/patio.

* No unregistered vehicle may be parked on city streets for more than 48 hours (or it will be towed).

First notice will be a warning citation; subsequent violations incur a fine of $200.00. Let's keep the area beautiful.
