Today's title? No, it's not original with us. It comes from an article by Josh Waldrep. We have no idea what Tatum thought of this evaluation; Tatum has removed its Facebook page...you know, the one where people are asked to grade a business or service.
Other pundits have concluded that the fair City of Florence just didn't offer Tatum enough money to expect any quality work. The City of Vestavia Hills recently paid the Tatums the sum of $215,000.00 for similar, although more comprehensive, work. Here's what that upscale town got for its money:
Of course, the above is more of a seal than a simple advertising logo. The dogwood is a nice touch. We didn't get even a dandelion.
The whole thing seems to boil down to just where was this project "advertised?" As of now, the first piece of the paper trail to suggest the elimination of local agencies is Melinda Morgan's memo. We don't blame Andy for not putting his name to it. Did you notice how the mayor attempted to shove a great deal of blame on the council during his WAAY-TV interview?

Speaking of job postings, the Muscle Shoals School Board has advertised for an assistant superintendent. They go though those rather rapidly, don't they?
