Since 2011, Alabama had been using its second incarnation of victim notification for paroles, releases, and transfers. This month, a third system has been launched. Now, instead of literal street addresses, the State will notify you via e-mail or phone message. You may move ten times, but you will still be notified when the person who hurt you or your family has a parole hearing.
