Who Dropped the Ball in Sheffield?

From Bennett Lee Pugh:

The transfer agreement between the Sheffield Redevelopment Authority and the developer of Inspiration Landing required the developer to host an event before 12/1/20 or pay the city $520,000. He didn’t perform under the contract and never paid the penalty. Why not and who let him off the hook? The citizens of Sheffield need answers while we pay increased taxes to repay the loans taken out for this debacle.

Wasn't this discussed at a council meeting? If it wasn't, why wasn't it?

We understand that if asked about the situation, Mayor Steve Stanley will tut-tut and tell the inquisitive person that he should be looking to the future, not the past. Okay, looking to the future, who will be paying those two huge USDA loans each month?

Apparently someone has been criticizing Nathan Fuller for referring to himself as the next Colbert school superintendent. Barring a calamity, Mr. Fuller will be the next super no matter what happens with the Democratic ballot.

The problem as we see it, just what did happen with Mr. McDonald on the ballot...or should we say NOT on the ballot. We were not aware that someone could just waltz into an election at any time and begin a campaign.

  1. You act surprised at the behavior of politicians...even the wannabes.
