"I am 1 of 2 Revenue Commissioners in the State of Alabama to receive the Certified License Administration Certificate. I am also thankful to say in March, I became Franklin County’s first Certified Tax Administrator."

We're surprised that Republican candidate Mrs. Stancil has any opposition, but since she does, let's look at her opponent.

Stratt Byars Jr. was elected as a Democrat to the Franklin County Commission in 2008. After serving one term, he bailed on that job and ran as a Democrat for the office of probate judge - he lost. Interestingly, he lists one of his qualifications as being the son of a former probate judge. Using that rationale, one of our best friends may be a college drop-out, but she's qualified to perform heart surgery. 

Franklin County has its share of problems; let's make sure its revenue commissioner isn't one of them. Vote for Veronica Copeland Stancil!
