Waterloo Funding Restored & Other Updates


It seems Rob Carnegie has claimed an oversight in omitting funding for Waterloo's Trail of Tears in this year's tourism budget. Interesting, since the mayor of Waterloo had contacted Carnegie and the board twice concerning the omission. In any event, the funding has now been restored.

In two days, any indictments from the last Lauderdale County grand jury should be signed off on and made official. Will there be any arrests in the June 8th Shoal Creek boat crash? We fail to see how there would not be. For those who think approximately 85 days is a long time, look at similar events in this area.
