Kelly Crotts Wants Permission to Leave the State

Kelly Crotts is currently under indictment in Lauderdale County. The Central Hts. businessman is accused of sex crimes with three young victims. Out on bail, he's not permitted to leave the state without specific permission.

Now Crotts has asked for that permission. He's seeking to return to his native Greenville, Mississippi, in order to assist his ill brother. There are anecdotal reports that the brother, who has had declining health for years, needs help in working on a house he's flipping.

Should the Lauderdale legal system let him go? Those who have contacted us feel that he's a danger. We have mixed feelings about this. Perhaps an ankle monitor would be the answer to keeping Crotts corralled near his brother's home?
