Is he now, in his lame duck stage, refusing to keep the shelter grounds in shape?

Frequent council critic Michael White had some pithy words for our useless leader, as well as his county counterpart:

Wait a minute.............are you asking for volunteers to do the yard maintenance at the Florence Lauderdale Animal Services shelter property? Does the city of Florence and Lauderdale County not have DOZENS of maintenance workers employed who take care of mowing and weed eating throughout the city and county? Do they not take care of a taxpayer funded property with their taxpayer funded equipment during their taxpayer funded time on the taxpayer funded clock? Talk about BIZARRO world. Please tell me the situation I just described is NOT correct!
