SHE-nanigans in Muscle Shoals

First, a letter from a Muscle Shoals citizen:

Not only have Muscle Shoals City Employees had their benefits and pay cut by the infamous Mayor Mikie Lockhard and City Clerk Mrs. Brittney Walters, they have now treated themselves to BRAND NEW 2024 CHEVROLET TAHOE'S - of course, fully loaded.

Working people in the city don't have a chance, but if you think you are safe - Get ready citizens and businesses - tax increases are already planned to heap on top of  the other TAX INCREASES this city council has put on us since Mikie Lockhard and Brittney Walters have teamed up to run the city in the ground.

REMEMBER THIS WHEN YOU SEE CITY FEES, TAXES,  ELECTRIC BILLS AND GROCERIES GET HIGHER AND HIGHER and think about Mr. Lockhard and Ms. Walters running the roads and going on vacations at our expense. The working people deserve better than these 2 clowns and their 3 stooges on the city council taxing us to death so they have more money to spend on themselves and their fancy trips.

Mikie, his girl, Brittney, and the 3 stooges gonna be run out of town - VOTE 2025 and get rid of the moochers, liars, and thieves.

We have to ask how many of us drive a three year-old vehicle? The good mayor says his predecessor received a new vehicle every two years and his current city ride is three years old. Second, how many city clerks are given their own ride courtesy of the municipality for which they work?

We'll have more on city clerks and their salaries soon.

Which Ta-Hoe Did Mikey & Brittany Choose?

  2. I keep waiting for someone to 'out' Brittney's *missing* employment years. You know, kinda sorta like she was working for someone for CASH with Side 'Benefits' ??? Hmmm Isn't that Tax Evasion/Fraud ?

  3. Dear Community Members,

I hope this message finds you well. I'm writing to share some thoughts that have been weighing on my mind lately, particularly regarding the discourse surrounding Brittany and her role in our community.

It's disheartening to see how much attention and criticism Brittany has been receiving lately for her political influence and the benefits she receives, such as a car allowance. While I understand that some may have concerns about the allocation of resources, it's important to consider the bigger picture.

Brittany may have taken a break from work for a couple of years, but that doesn't diminish her capabilities or qualifications. She clearly demonstrated her skills during the interview process and possesses the expertise needed for her position. It's unfair to judge her based on a gap in her employment history.

Moreover, instead of solely focusing on Brittany and her benefits, why aren't we questioning similar allowances and perks in other cities? Every municipality has its own policies and practices, and it's not productive to single out Muscle Shoals for scrutiny.

Take, for example, the car allowance provided for Brittany's position. While some may see it as excessive, it's actually quite common for roles requiring extensive travel or fieldwork. In fact, the allowance is a testament to the city's commitment to supporting its employees and ensuring they have the resources necessary to fulfill their duties effectively.

Furthermore, let's not overlook the positive contributions that Brittany and the city of Muscle Shoals are making to our community. Whether it's through infrastructure improvements, community programs, or economic development initiatives, their efforts are shaping a brighter future for all of us.

Instead of dwelling on negativity, let's celebrate the progress and impact that Muscle Shoals is achieving. Let's appreciate the dedication of individuals like Brittany who are working tirelessly to make our city a better place to live.

In conclusion, I urge everyone to shift their focus towards the positive aspects of our community and the individuals contributing to its success. By fostering a culture of support and appreciation, we can truly make Muscle Shoals a thriving and vibrant place for generations to come.
