Support the Homeless? You Betcha!

 

Yesterday, we had several ask why we didn't "support the homeless." No, they were not regular readers, but individuals sent by others who know nothing about our blog, mingled with some still disgruntled over our commenting on a Rogersville man who was arrested for a felony probation violation.

We did a quick search, and we have 21 separate blogs asking for support for Room in the Inn. Also, for the past four or five years, we've had a donation link for RITI at the bottom of our blog. Thanksgiving is coming, so if you feel inclined, think of others and click on the link to donate.

This also goes for Medicaid expansion. We didn't count the blogs where we've mentioned the need for this, but regular readers know we are in favor of expanding the program. There is to be a new push next spring, and we'll certainly be listing the appropriate addresses for our legislators at that time.
