"Two Lexington Yutes" Arrested in Thwarted Gay Pride "Criminal Conspiracy"

Steven Derrick Tucker aka Don TX

Earlier today, 31 members of the Patriot Front drove into a Northern Idaho park area where a Gay Pride demonstration was taking place. All were white, wearing matching shirts and masks, and stuffed into the back of a U-Haul. None of these yutes was  from Idaho, but two were from Lexington, Alabama - at least as far as their booking IDs proclaimed.

Pictured above is Steven Tucker who appears to be some kind of boxer:

The second citizen from Lauderdale County was Wesley Evan Van Horn, not exactly making Lexington proud. All 31 were arrested on charges of Criminal Conspiracy. There's been no word on any weapons confiscated. Intentions? We can at least pretty well speculate there was nothing honorable about them.

No word as yet from a certain Alabama judge or East Florence church.

Muscle Shoals Lawsuit - Chapter 1

With all the attention on Florence Lauderdale Jail we have to wonder how widespread these problems are.

Colbert County Jail has seen its share of federal lawsuits for inmate abuse and excessive force which continues to cost the citizens of Colbert County a great deal of money. Deals are being cut at this time to pay off several settlements - one victim receiving $250,000.00 to "go away". Others settlements are in the works while other lawsuits are making their way through the courts.

Muscle Shoals City Jail has a brouhaha that began in Dispatch.

This story will play out in several letters to Shoalanda for it is much too much to digest in one sitting. Some months ago in the office of Muscle Shoals Police Dispatch a salesman visits a male police officer. The 2 men discussed the poor salesman's health problems and how his private parts are rather swollen.

As the female dispatcher tends to her business, the salesman proceeds to drop his pants and underwear, and shares his ailing privates much to the dismay of the dispatcher and female jailer that is present. Embarrassed, scared and caught in a predicament, the day jailer immediately looks away and for an opportunity to escape. It only takes a matter of time before the day jailer goes to her superior to complain, when immediately her superior tells her to file a formal complaint -  this is not to be tolerated. Well, at least that was the advice before the complaint named names and revealed the names of  the salesman and the male police officer.

The situation turned from one “not to be tolerated”, to one “not to be discussed”. It seems the male police officer had been in situations that most people would be fired over and was simply moved around till situations "blew over" and then back to business as usual.

Meanwhile, this female day jailer who was hired and promised a shift conducive to her as a single parent had no idea what was in store for speaking against the status quo. Little did she know one of MSPD's fine captains was grooming her replacement. The captain saw a lot of potential in a 19 year old female night jailer that worked the midnight shift and took her as a special "friend with benefits" (most people would call this an extramarital affair - MSPD probably calls it on the job training).

Shortly after the day jailer's complaint, the 19 year old female night jailer in training is given the day jailer's job and the "complainer" is moved to a midnight shift.

Think this is over - NAH - It's just beginning

Next up - The day-turned night- jailer meets Mayor Mikey Lockhart. Stay tuned.

Lauderdale System Says No to Cell Phones

At one time, we thought a no cell phone policy was the way to go. Then year after year and shooting after shooting, we changed our minds.

Now Jerry Hill of Lauderdale County Schools has banished all mobile devices in any class setting. That's not all, if a phone is confiscated, it will be searched. If any little darlings have porn, semi-porn, or plans for an attack on the school, administrators will report the student to the police.

There's also a new policy about vaping, but we sincerely hope that nasty habit is extremely rare in our schools. Now let's all await the parents' responses.

No New Sheffield School Asst. Superintendent?

A source close to the Sheffield superintendent's office has stated there are no current plans to fill the now vacant position of assistant superintendent. Will it be filled later after Dr. Carlos Nelson has sufficient time to improve the workings of the system...or will others simply take up the slack?

*****

The Republican steering committee has scheduled the next hearing on the election challenges for June 25th. That's four days after the election and much too late for the contests involved.

We can hope only for the committee to go forward in its investigation on how the ballot mix-up came to be and then report to the Lauderdale County District Attorney's office if needed.

In the ongoing saga of Tre Srygley, his charges now include Attempted Murder. This does answer the question as to why his bond is set at 150K. We can't recall when we've seen so much victim blaming.

No matter what any woman has done in her past, she doesn't deserve to be repeatedly strangled and beaten. Let's all try to remember that, shall we?

Tim Melson Has Had Bridges Named for Lynn Greer

No, this isn't a prank or fake news. On April 6th of this year, a bill initiated by Sen. Tim Melson was passed in our state legislature. SJR101 officially names bridge BIN 11181 carrying U.S. Highway 72 traffic west bound over Second Creek in Lauderdale County and bridge BIN 20349 carrying U.S. Highway 72 traffic east bound over Second Creek in Lauderdale County, together, as Representative Lynn Greer Way.

The bill goes on to mandate signage of appropriate pomp be erected on this stretch of Hwy.72. Is Tim Melson paying for this? No, we're pretty sure the citizens of Lauderdale County are footing at least part of this bill.

Congressional Medal of Honor winner Don Michael didn't even merit a bridge, but Lynn Greer does? Remember when the City of Florence named a gym after Wimp Sanderson? How did that work out?

$410K Closing Costs on Florence/Lauderdale New EMA Building?

The Lauderdale EMA and 911 offices are about to consolidate into one location on Dr. Hicks Boulevard. The asking price of the building was two million:

Obviously closing costs add to the bottom line, but $410,000.00?

So all you Lauderdale County and city of Florence taxpayers may want to check into where the money officially went.

For all who may be geographically challenged, The Florence City Cemetery's eastern boundary (retaining wall) is East Tennessee Street. Florence Boulevard merges into Tennessee Street at the Memorial Park. Frank Townsell might want to check the streef signs before any public requests/statements.

The Story of a Muscle Shoals Lawsuit - Introduction

A Birmingham law firm has written a letter to the city of Muscle Shoals and its police department notifying them of its intent to sue. At the center of the story is, perhaps not surprisingly, Mayor Mike Lockhart.

Our informant/writer has divided the account into chapters. and we'll be posting these in days to come. In the interim, we'll be posting the results of Tuesday's Republican Steering Committee hearing sometime tomorrow. At that point, we should know if anyone besides Phillip Pettus (The First!) has been eliminated from the list of contested candidates.

On the subject of Pettus, a reader has asked if an attorney could file a suit against the Lauderdale superintendent's bill introduced by Lynn Greer and promoted by Pettus. Our take is the best way to restore voting rights in Florence will be to have the legislature repeal the outrageous bill.

We will be looking into this and appreciate any ideas from our readers. It's going to be an interesting few weeks!
