Where Is Gregory Knighten?

 

Gregory Delano Knighten has been missing since Christmas Day of last year. At the time of his disappearance, his last address of record was a home on Virginia Shores in Muscle Shoals, but he has previously lived in Huntsville, Cherokee, Killen, and Florence.

The 55 year-old Knighten has a long record in both Colbert and Lauderdale Counties that includes at least 20 arrests in the past two decades, primarily for drugs and assault. On December 25, 2024, Knighten was serving a sentence in the Lauderdale County Detention Center on charges of possession of illegal drugs and promoting prison contraband when he, along with a small group of other prisoners, was released, reportedly without advance notice.

Authorities say Knighten left the South Seminary Street correctional facility on foot and has not been seen since. He's 5'9" tall and weighs 150#, although he may have gained weight during his incarceration.
