Griffin & Simmons Want Vote Postponed

 

According to the official City of Florence Facebook page, there's to be an important vote on January 7, 2024. Who wrote this? Who edited this? Was it Handy Dandy Andy himself or one of his THREE secretaries? (And you wonder where your tax dollars go!)

However, there won't be a vote on January 7, 2025, either. Both Council members Bill Griffin and Kaytrina Simmons are prepared to vote to postpone the decision for two weeks. Good on 'em!

If this new district map does pass, it will be in effect not only for the 2025 election, but also for the 2029 vote. Every citizen of Florence needs to look over the redrawn districts to determine if they're affected or not.
