Steve Stanley Did...but Didn't...but He Did!

 

We've recently reported on two sets of terminations by Sheffield mayor Steve Stanley. The first involved police officers Wes Holland and Kaegan Cook. 

Now according to an article in the TimesDaily, the Sheffield Civil Service Board wrongly approved the terminations before allowing the officers to have a hearing if they so desired. The terminations are now on hold. Nothing like reading the directions...

Then we have the three legal terminations. The City also now says the firings of municipal judge, prosecutor, and attorney are not official. In the same breath, Stanley indicated that applications are welcome and interviews will be held after December 6th. Clear as mud.

As much as we feel the mayor of Florence is lacking in leadership qualities, we're giving the "Incompetent" medal to Steve Stanley.
