Remember those four applicants for Sheffield police chief? Only One Qualified

A source tells us that the only qualified candidate is Black. That could change since the deadline to apply is December 6th. What if it doesn't change?

Is the Sheffield Civil Service Board thinking of revising the education/supervisory requirement? Perhaps the list of preferences should lead with: Anyone Out There Actually Want to Work for Sheffield; Anyone at All?

If the City does change its requirements, we see another lawsuit in its future. Ah, well, at least it's trying to get better legal representation...
