Today Marks Holocaust Remembrance

After October 7th, it's even more important to remember the Holocaust. We hope each of you says a prayer today thanking God for our freedom in this country and asking for the protection of Israel and a swift resolution to all wars.

  1. My granddad was a WWII combat veteran. As a kid I never understood why he and my grandmother slept in separate beds. After his death I asked my grandmother about it. She was quiet for a few minutes and then said when in Europe my granddad participated in liberating 'death camps'. She said he never forgot what he saw and he relived it nightly. She also said it weighed especially heavy on him because of his German ancestry.
