Payment 25 on Inspiration Landing USDA Loans

The City of Sheffield has two USDA loans currently outstanding on funds used for infrastructure at Inspiration Landing. The loans total $2,748,000.00 and will be paid off in 2062. Payments began in January 2022, meaning that the City is making its 25th payment to the USDA this month.

It would be slightly different if Sheffield actually received any benefit from these loans, but, alas, it did not. The funds went to improve land already deeded to John Elkington, who is currently doing nothing but trying to evade lawsuits.

Of course, it's not like the city needed the money for road improvement in other areas of the town. Right?

Anyone checked out those Sheffield potholes recently?

  1. The DOJ can arrest, try, and sentence someone for merely being in D.C. on Jan. 6, 2021, but nothing can be done about Elkington fleecing the City of Sheffield? Absurd. Is someone afraid of information about the IL deal that might come out in court?

    1. Sheffield attorney
Bennett Pugh has subpoenaed all the payment info on IL. We should know more then.
