John Elkington always has answers to questions on how to kick-start Inspiration Landing. Now, he says it needs more land. Specifically, he is asking Sheffield to vacate a right-of-way that runs along 20th Street, adding acreage to his vast property holdings in that enchanted corner of Sheffield. A Monday afternoon meeting will decide that issue.
As far as we know, absolutely nothing has been done concerning IL in 2023...at least nothing by Elkington. Sheffield mayor Steve Stanley and council members are apparently attempting to recruit industry to that magic area. That's right; if Elkington can't get any restaurants or entertainment venues to break ground, perhaps new industry could be lured to the area.
Please explain again why Sheffield needed John Elkington and his voodoo hoodoo to begin with?
