No Water in West Lauderdale?/Bad Tuscumbia Investment?

Many residents of western Lauderdale County have had no water in two to three days. When temps get down to one degree, not even counting wind chill, this is to be expected. We've personally seen blocked off streets all over Florence due to broken city pipes. Unfortunately, company in misery doesn't make it that much easier for those who are affected.

Our main question: Will West Lauderdale Water services charge customers for days in which they received no water? A little kindness here could go a long way in creating good will for a company with so many detractors.

Speaking of water damage, a reader has asked this about a downtown Tuscumbia project: Reckon how long before tree roots and frozen soil ruin Tuscumbia's investment?
