When Your Google Assistant Corrects You

 

We have a great script for the next Twilight Zone reboot:

Our protagonist has every intention of watching the Auburn football game, but what will a few minutes of sleep hurt after an afternoon at work? Awakening some time later, our groggy subject realizes something is off. The Google Home Assistant gives the current score and announces the game is now in delay.

Human: Why is the game delayed?

Google: There was a lightning strike at Jawhrdun-Hare Stadium

Human (who can't resist): We believe you'll find that's pronounced Jerrdun.

Google: The correct pronunciation is Jawhrdun.

Our protagonist decides to just give up and escape to the kitchen in search of a snack of soylent green. The dystopia is here...
