More Sales Tax for Sheffield's Bond Payment?

 

If any Sheffield residents aren't aware, sales tax in that city will be increasing .5% in March of next year. Mayor Stanley has indicated this will help recruit and keep a better type of First Responders.

Did anyone bother to ask if any of these new funds will be used to make the bond payments due on Inspiration Landing? Surely it's a pertinent question.

On that note, has anyone heard anything new from that wonderful Sheffield development recently? Any...any at all...construction of new businesses? How about the Slag? Any word on its reopening? No, we didn't think so.

How about this query: Any disgruntled Sheffield citizens out there?
