Did Florence Employee Troll City Council?

Several weeks ago we were made aware of a city employee allegedly using an alias on Facebook to comment on various issues or contact certain individuals socially. This isn't a crime, and we hardly think it's that rare. The information did cause us to read the comments of one "Bob White," so we took notice when we saw his name on Tuesday's Florence City Council comments:

In case any are not aware, there is a great deal of controversy currently surrounding the council, part of it concerning a City of Florence employee. In other words, this is a time for serious critique of council actions, not levity. That is unless you wanted to denigrate the council or deflect attention from important issues.

Who would want to do this? An angry employee? An employee about to be terminated? An employee lacking the social sensibilities required in most positions?

Another take is an employee so sure of his position of favor in certain circles that he's pushing an atheist agenda? We at Shoalanda have long taken the position that at some point any non-theistic group can demand equal time at any government function. Is this the next step in a very misguided social experiment?

If you care about the City of Florence, now is the time to act...
