Two Endorsements

 

March 5th is fast approaching. Today, we're making two endorsements for local/regional offices. First, we're happy to endorse Dr. Allen Long for our State School Board - District 7. Dr. Long is an allopath who practices in Sheffield. While we see some dog whistles in Dr. Long's political flyers, we believe he's the best choice for a position that becomes more difficult with each passing year.

Our second endorsement is for the Superintendent of Colbert County Schools. Our mail ran five to one in favor of Nathan Fuller. Looking at Fuller's campaign literature, his financial expertise in establishing and managing a budget stands out. 

While we have been disappointed that neither Fuller nor Heather Miles provided us with any more detailed insight into their visions for the future of Colbert County Schools, we're happy to endorse Nathan Fuller for the office of Colbert County School Superintendent.
