Home for Displaced Shoals Veterans

 

It's been a long time in the making - at least five years. Now a Sheffield house is ready to serve displaced veterans of the Shoals. One can argue that many groups are overlooked in the Shoals, but United States military veterans are at the top of the list, not just in the Shoals, not just in Alabama, but across the country.

Now Community 360, a local non-profit based in Tuscumbia, is doing something to help any veteran in need of a hand up. The home will serve any veteran, but has room to offer temporary shelter to eight who have served our country.
