Until today, we had never heard of a squatted truck. If we've even seen one, we don't remember it. Now Phillip Pettus of Green Hill and two others have written a bill declaring them illegal if the front is raised more than four inches.
HB55 is based on highway safety and damage to roads. Currently only one state has passed such a law.
We agree that these should be illegal; however, we suggest Rep. Pettus throw in the wording that these warped vehicles are also ugly. We're also pretty sure these trucks are owned by males who don't want any females to join them on their excursions.
