Fentanyl Bill Passes House

 

Many of you either knew or knew of our former blogger who passed away last year. He died from mental illness in general and a drug overdose specifically. We have heard the drug he took was fentanyl. While we're not sure fentanyl was the cause of his death, we know of many others who have taken the opioid and lost their lives.

Now the Alabama House has passed HB 10 which will make selling or giving a fatal dose of fentanyl a crime that falls under the umbrella of manslaughter. The bill now goes to the Senate to be approved there.

Unless you know that the drug comes directly from a pharmacy, don't take it. It's simply not worth it.
