Rogersville Volunteer Fire Dept. Accused of Illegal Candidate Support

 

Two readers have made us aware of the Rogersville Volunteer Fire Department openly supporting Phillip Pettus Jr, aka The Second! Assuming the Rogersville organization is a tax exempt entity, they can and will be reported to the attorney general, ethics commission, and secretary of state.

This same department has posted blurbs by Phillip Pettus (The First!). Again, we have individuals who think laws don't apply to them.  How very sad for those who claim to care for the well-being of others, then stomp all over those individuals' rights.
