Illegal Political Signs at Brooks

 

Someone in Killen has reported:

Want to tell me why Brooks High School has two big political signs for Jason Black? On the back at the softball press box and at the entrance of the baseball field. That’s illegal on school grounds.

It certainly is illegal, but obviously makes someone "feel good," so that's all that matters. Ask yourselves: If he/she will cheat in an election, what will they do once elected?

Now a pithy comment on the District 1 House contest and county commission race:

What has Pettus done for the people of his district? Absolutely nothing! I vote for people who want to make a difference. Not just someone wanting a job with benefits. What about his son running for county commission? Has he ever once been to a county commission? Has he ever once been to a county commission meeting in his life? I don't think so. He just wants "in on it". It is terribly disgusting.

If you want an honest, educated representative in County District 1, vote for Chapel King on May 24th.
