Is Josh Fowler Returning to the Shoals?

You may remember Josh Fowler as the Muscle Shoals baseball coach who resigned to pursue other interests two years ago. Almost immediately, Etowah County Schools signed Fowler to teach/coach at Southside High and Rainbow Middle School.

For the past two years, Fowler has served as assistant coach at the small school near Gadsden; however, he may soon be returning to the Shoals. Central High School in Lauderdale County has been interviewing for the position of history teacher, and word is that Fowler was chosen over at least one other candidate with a master's degree in history.
