Room at the Inn Now Open/Salvation Army Rape?

 

For those in need of shelter from cold nights, the Room at the Inn is now open for the winter. We can't say enough good about this organization. It's located at 602 Veterans Drive in Florence.

The Salvation Army front? It's been mostly no news is good news with a new director. No more heathen children terrorizing anyone in their path and no more Mexican flags flying at events. 

The bad? There have been reports of a recent rape at the shelter. We can't stress enough that this is an extremely serious crime and should be reported to authorities. No one, male or female, no matter their circumstances in life, deserves to be violated in this way. If the powers that be at the homeless shelter are aware of this, they are guilty of being an accessory after the fact. 

However, this does not mean we won't report these allegations. If you're abused there, we want to know it. Just tell the Florence police first.
