Watchdog Group Calls Andy Betterton "Useless"

 

Since last fall, there have been several groups/Facebook pages that have sprung up criticizing Florence city government, especially Andy Betterton and Dick Jordan. All but one of these groups seem to have an agenda based on social ideology. The remaining group, Our Voice, is based on ridding city hall of unnecessary spending and cronyism. 

Yesterday, Our Voice called Florence mayor Andy Betterton "useless." We've recently heard him called much worse. Some ineffectual figureheads at least pretend to lead. Betterton isn't very good at the pretense of leadership, much less the real thing.

Why don't you ask Big Daddy why Florence Animal Services is being forced to work with only a half staff? Better yet, ask Handy Dandy Andy how many times he's checked in on the animal shelter since he's been mayor.

If Andy says he's just been too busy with all his other activism, please send this blog a rundown on just what this activism is. We've never been able to find any reference to it except in Andy's self-written blurbs.
