We don't know the future, but we can certainly read warning signs. Rome, the Mayan nation, the USSR - they were once all great (though ideologically flawed) powers...and they all fell. As we've said before, do you expect everything to be the same in one thousand years? No. How about five hundred? No. How about 100? Now your answers are probably positive. Yes, the US will be here, just like it is today, in 100 years. Why are you so sure?
Five years ago, if you had asked what calamity would befall the world and especially this country, we would have postulated that North Korea would finally develop a missile to reach Guam and our world would change forever. Now our world is changed to a great degree, but it was due to a plague. Did anyone see that coming except Stephen King?
Yes, news is instantaneous and we learn of much more tragedy than ever before. For years we've used that thinking to pooh-pooh any real change in our country and its greatness. Now, we're not so sure.
Are we predicting a civil war? No. We see the politics of US states diverging to the point that secession can't be stopped without major military action that we would hope will never come. How many new countries will evolve? We have no idea, but we should be prepared that this could come suddenly and be something we see in our lifetime.
Yes, it's sad that so many have similar thoughts this Independence Day. Enjoy the celebrations while you can...

The LEFT is Hellbent on the absolute and total destruction of America. I pray daily for God to remove, with extreme prejudice, the evil that has seized our Republic. May God Bless America!
ReplyDeleteFuck America and fuck you too. I burned a flag today. I spit on this country. Incidentally, Russia has the same color scheme so when you vote for Agent Orange you can claim you also support the Red, White, and Blue too, you Trump humping cunt.
