Justin Holcomb? No Chance against Adderholt

 

Qualifying for 2024 elections has officially ended. Who's running in District 4 U.S. House of Representatives? (A district the Shoals unfortunately remains in due to crazy-quilt gerrymandering.)

We have Robert Adderholt who was originally elected in 1996 and has served since 1997. One Republican is opposing Adderholt; his name is Justin Holcomb, a man who has worked for Donald Trump for the past eight years and even has the red tie to prove it.

Holcomb promises to bring back Ft. Payne sock factories and to abolish the FBI, Department of Justice, and the ATF. Speaking of guns, he's ready to defend the Capitol with a Kalashnikov rifle, at least that appears to be his intention judging from his campaign page. Isn't that what the Capitol Police are for?

These people walk among us and even run for national office. In case there's any doubt, we support Rep. Robert Adderholt in his quest for a 15th term in office.

1. Stop making idiotic promises you couldn't keep in a million years.

2. You can support the Second Amendment without publicly carrying around an AK rifle.
