An "R" Rated Show at the Palace?

 

Ah, the Palace Ice Cream & Sandwich Shop. It has a lovely write-up on the Florence-Lauderdale Convention & Tourism Visitors site - probably because Rob Carnegie hasn't learned what's in which county. 

The soda fountain opened in 1906 and was restored in 2001. Then earlier this year, the tourist mecca for downtown Tuscumbia closed briefly. New owners (Ashley Morrow and two others) then purchased the Palace and promised to continue its tradition with a few modern changes. 

One of these changes appears to be shifting the clientele base to adults only or at least teens with adult supervision. Is this a good business move?
