Can anyone please explain why Rogersville Water Works recently increased water usage rates?
The state had to step in and force the Town of Rogersville to stop writing so many speeding tickets, and now (all of a sudden) a dramatic increase in water rates. What gives?

Rogersville Water Board members are also refusing to answer any questions about the price increase. Rogersville Water Works and Sewer Board members appointed by the Town Council of Rogersville to six-year terms are:
• John Embry – Chairman
• Travis L Butler, III
• Jamey Cosby
• Tony Cosby
• Charlie Roberson
Tony Cosby is a manager for the out-of-state water firm Pluris. How is he being on the Rogersville board not a conflict of interest? We demand answers!
