Batten Down Your Hatches...Here Come the Election Ads

Democrats began qualifying for the 2022 election cycle on December 6th. Republicans will begin on Tuesday, and the qualifying period will end on January 28th. The election will be held on November 8th, meaning we have approximately ten months of campaign ads to look forward to.

While it's still early, we appreciate candidate bios, campaign announcements, etc., at any point and will publish as we receive them.

As of today, the governor's race appears to be one of the three or four most interesting for our part of the state. On the Republican side, there are five announced candidates and two who are teasing the voters with "maybe I will, maybe I won't." On the Democratic side of the aisle, there are currently three candidates.

We assume no thinking person gives the Democratic candidate even the slimmest chance in this state, so we're pretty much looking at a five person race...or will that be a seven person race by tomorrow?

Please, if you aren't registered to vote, do so now. Otherwise, no complaining about the results.

  1. Got your quotes a little twisted, didn't you "Shoalanda"????.....“The people of Georgia are angry. The people of the country are angry, and there's nothing wrong with saying that, you know, that you've recalculated,” Trump said on the call. "All I want to do is this: I just want to find 11,780 votes, which is one more than we have... Fellas, I need 11,000 votes, give me a break." As for the Alabama elections.... the crooked repulsivecans in this state as the party of Trump will nominate another moron like the failed football coach or an insurrectionist like the current representative from the Shoals.....the race to the bottom for Alabama republicans is embarrassing for a THINKING person in this state but also funny as hell for anyone who hasn't been brainwashed by the rightwing and the pulpits in this state to watch...pass the popcorn please.
